Our gel candle supplies melt much more slowly, closely similar to traditional wax candles. Candle gel is commonly made of 95 percent mineral oil, and 5 percent polymer resin. This resin is a powder that, when mixed with the mineral oil, transforms it to a more solid state. There are three densities of candle gel available in our gel candle supplies; they are our: low density (LD), medium density (MD), and high density (HD). Each density has its advantages and disadvantages, but high density is recommended as it holds more fragrance and retains its shape better than the other candle gels in our gel candle supplies inventory.
