• Our orders vary tremendously in content and destination. A MAJOR factor in UPS freight calculations is the NUMBER OF CARTONS.
• Because our orders may consist of containers, wax, wicks, fragrance, etc., etc. we have NO PRIOR IDEA of how many cartons will be needed to ship your order until we have the order in our possession.
• If you set a shopping cart UPS shipping calculator to "pack products together", as if it will fit in one box, we would most definitely lose money on the majority of our shipments.
• If you set a shopping cart UPS shipping calculator to "pack products separately" then you will almost always be SERIOUSLY overcharged.
• UPS also charges a multitude of SURCHARGES depending on various factors. If your location is viewed as RURAL by UPS there will most likely be an additional charge per carton levied on your order. Shopping cart calculators do NOT usually take these surcharges into account for some unknown reason. We DON'T KNOW if any surcharges will be assessed until we actually process your shipment with our local UPS facility.

Alabaster charges the minimum amount of freight for each order by accurately calculating the shipping and choosing the most economical carrier.
