Wick Tools The Wick Dipper extinguishes candles with no smoking. The Wick Trimmer
conveniently trims candle wicks to 1/4".
Pre-primed and cut to various lengths, most often used in paraffin, but acceptable for use with soy.The
LX Series wick produces less smoke and less carbon than zinc core wicks.
HTP Wicks
A self-trimming wick. HTP wicks are rigid due to the type of braid. Works
best in in vegetable, gel and the one-pour container waxes.
This is a round wick with a uniquely braided cotton core designed with tension threads that give the wick a slight, but effective, curl during combustion. The wick is directional in that capillary action flows more freely in one direction. Due to their intricate design, the RRD series provides a centered burn pool, self-trimming burn characteristics and a consistently high rate of fuel flow. These wicks work well with viscous fuels such as vegetable wax, gels and one pours. They are effective in containers and especially useful in pillars due to their concentric burn pools.
Cotton wick is a cored candle wick, braided with long strand washed
cotton. It exhibits a slightly curled flame profile in combustion thereby
minimizing carbon buildup, while still creating a burn pool concentric with
the circumference of the candle. The tight braiding of this wick helps to
achieve a precise and consistent metering of the liquid wax regardless of
the changing temperatures and viscosities commonly found in container
candles. The Cotton Cord series can be used in almost all candle
applications and formulations where a concentric burn pool is desired.
The CD wick is a coreless, non-directional, flat braided wick with a special paper filament woven around it. This configuration is engineered to promote maximum and consistent capillary action while insuring a wick trimming flame posture, the CD series is used in many different applications and is especially compatible with the harder-to-melt viscous waxes of both paraffin and vegetable base.
A flat, corless, cotton wick with thin paper filaments interwoven for burn stability. The specially treated paper threads provide a controlled curling of the wick making the ECO series self-trimming, wick results in minimized mushrooming, soot and smoke. ECO wicks are particularly successful in lower melt-point vegetable and paraffin waxes.
